PNP Makara Enduro: practice II & III

Over the weekend I went up to Makara and had another practice session, this time with more success (I crashed out last time).

After my derailleur essentially blew up last Wednesday, I swapped all my bits from my hardtail over to my full suspension bike.

I had to get my wheel repaired (9 broken spokes) and had to get a new derailleur hanger.

BUT now the bike is running like an absolute dream. I’ve scoped out the track and the best lines and I put in the best time on Ridgeline I have ever done. It was scary! So preparation is going well.

There are over 50 riders signed up and the nerves are definitely kicking in.

I’ll update you on the results on Sunday evening after the race. At this stage i’m just looking for something respectable!

Fingers crossed!

Ridgeline – off in the distance – before it got Gnarly!
